RESIN is
an upcoming new line of denim. And if the clothing is anything like the video on the front page, it is a sick new line of denim.
Bod Ice
While this trend is not new in the least, I just found a wonderful DIY tutorial to make your own body chain. If you haven't tried this trend out yet, now's your chance! Try pairing the body chain over a loose shirt, under an oversized breezy button-down, or even under a backless dress. For the tutorial by Park & Cube click here.

All Tied Up
I know scarves are more of a fall/winter item, but the summer scarf has been hot, hot, hot this season. Bright colours, breezy fabrics and flow-y forms make this trend oh-so-fun to wear. And take it from me, the perfect knot means the difference between working the scarf or the scarf working you. So for your viewing pleasure and just to make sure you find your perfect knot, take a minute to watch the two most popular ways to wear a scarf.
And if you're up for a challenge, try this more complicated knot. Perhaps this is more of a winter style...

You're So Transparent!
Here's a fresh look at technology. Since we all know everything is influenced by fashion, let's take a look at, or rather through, these innovative designs.

The transparent toaster is still in the making but once it is functional and up for sale, I am so grabbing myself one of these puppies.

For the sporty chick (or dude) in all of us, this transparent canoe kayak, would make for one hell of a water ride.

On to more directly fashion related pieces. I forgot what photo series or advertisement campaign this one is from, anybody know? Very futuristic and check out those leggings. Platinum metallic makes for a wonderful ghost-like effect, don't you think?

Where's the Magic, Harry?
Saw 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' today. Some have said it was just as good as the others, but personally I thought not. Where was the magic that the first one radiated? How about the character development and depth from the second and third? Or the thrill and excitement of the fourth and fifth? I simply could not find any of it. It was... dare I say... bland. Very, very bland. Maybe it is the fact that I read the books intently, but this sixth film installment just did not make my cauldron bubble, if you will. The music was blah, the action was unexciting, the magical creatures done-before.

There was, however, one aspect of the movie I enjoyed. Emma Watson. More specifically, her intense poise and self-assuredness that she has not only when playing Hermione, but also off the screen. Burberry anyone?

Ring-a-Ling
I stumbled upon this great site: notcot.org. They have a fashion sister site that is kind of really rad. Anyways, that's how I found these beauties!

Wear this ring for a while and take it off. See what's written on your skin!
